I am sure you are holding your better arguments back for later. I play very close attention to the DVD and DIVX situation. DVD is selling well, but it is not selling as well as it would if DVD players could record onto a disc. Many young buyers are waiting for that version of the DVD player. Personally, I am going to buy one DVD player and wait for that to break before I buy another one (smile). But I see no reason to buy a DVD player yet? VHS is satisfying my needs. Unless I go out and buy an entertainment system DVD will never seem any better than VHS. The picture is very much dependent upon the quality of the TV that I own.

That brings up another issue. How big is the market for this player anyway? How long will it take to grow. How long will it be before it is replaced by something else.

Those were rhetorical questions.
