Maxtor beats earnings by .19 (.31 actual vs .12 est.)
maxtor.com

Also had coverage initiated on it today:
biz.yahoo.com

This should give the sector a nice lift.

>>. Yet, I see the bears like pope are still trying to paint a negative picture. <<

Since I'm long RDRT, I assume you're either drunk or cretinous.

And what's bearish about pointing out that 1:30 on the West coast is 4:30 on the East?

NasdaqStud,

<<"The bears are toast - what a bunch of fools. Only the wise bought in during the going out of business hoopla sale." and "Only I, the STUD!!, continue to take advantage of market opportunities.
">>

Interesting brag since the following post from you suggests that you sold at or before 14 bucks a share.

Message 6710734

In an earlier post this year suggest that you held RDRT around May 10 when the stock was trading around 9+change. It was your first post on this thread as near as I can tell. No clues in this post as to what you bought at. That comes later.

versus my response to yours on the same day:

Message 4398169

The stock then went on to its 12 month low of around 5 1/2. I sold short at 9, and covered at 6 1/2 during the time you so vehemently antagonized us bears on RDRT. But the following post from you on Aug 5th suggest you were down 50% on a day that the stock was trading at $6+change. If your statement is accurate then it suggests you bought at $12 or so. (This was the post when you also told us about your "MULTIMILLION" dollar portfolio, going so far as to use caps as I have done here.)

Message 5423676

I eventually bought at 8+change.

and commented on upcoming Q4 earnings in this post: Message 5846719
I said a loss of 53 cents. They reported a loss of 61 cents.

I took profits at 12+. Message 6274080

Not shabby (+50%) but I did leave money on the table.

Now come on man. If you have been up front with your posts then you made about 2 bucks a share or about 16%. That isn't bad but it doesn't exactly live up to your self aggrandizing posts. If the posts you made aren't true then what are you really doing here beside antagonizing other posters and spewing BS?

Best,
Stitch

Nice to see you writing STUD. I'll look at your recommendation.

Wish I had hung on, but back at the party now,

Well I'm glad I was just watching BNYN. Looks like the street was not impressed with their earnings report. Any analyst following this stock? I'm looking for an entry point. Maybe the spinout may take this stock higher and analysts would soon initiate coverage. CPQ is now planning to spin out Alta Vista.

What's your take on CDSC? It has based between $7 and $8 for a long time now. CDSC is making money compared to their peers and they will be announcing two internet sites soon (products and auction), within two months. It's probably a good time to load up. What do you think?
