Dear Susie,

As I've said, I don't want to dominate this thread -- so I'm really glad you've jumped-in, and appreciate your contribution (all of your info is NEW to me, so it's both useful and encouraging).

To avoid "cluttering" the thread, or turning it into a private-chat forum, I'm also sending you a "PM" (Private Message) with a couple of requests -- so please look for it. In case you don't know how that works: Go to your SI "Home" page and look at the "Inbox" area on the top-left of the screen. You should see an indication of how many messages are there (should be at least ONE there now, from me) -- then click on the Inbox link, and the messages will pop-up...

Thanks again for getting involved...

A few more notes re LGF/Mandalay projects...

I've just seen "Gloria" -- thought it was okay, but not great (in other words, entertaining but a little disappointing overall). So I'll be curious to see what kind of box-office business it does.

I also saw a new "trailer" today for a film that I'd heard about, but hadn't known until now is ALSO a "Mandalay Entertainment" production. It's "The Deep End of the Ocean," starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Treat Williams and Whoopi Goldberg, based on a best-selling book about (apparently) a kidnapped child who is re-united with his family many years after his abduction. Looks really great from the trailer. The exact release-date wasn't mentioned, but I assume it must be reasonably soon...

I've also just discovered that in addition to the many T-V programs that I'd already known "Mandalay" was behind (including one of my personal new favorites, "Cupid"), it ALSO produces two very-good sitcoms shown on the "Lifetime" channel -- "Oh, Baby!" and "Maggie", which are now broadcast back-to-back on Saturdays from 8-9pm (at least in L-A). I've been watching and enjoying them both since they began last year, and am happy to find out that "my" entertainment-company is involved with them.

I'll continue to post any more such info, if/when I come across it...
