Here's my take on the CC:

1. I thought the prepared session went rather well. JG did a decent job of reporting the accomplishments for the 4th quarter.

2. The Q&A period was a different story. There seemed to be very little interest from analysts by the number of questions asked and the number of different firms asking questions. The last 3 questions were all from Emerald who have been IOM's biggest supporters. And they didn't sound too enthusiastic. In general the tone was much less upbeat than the conference calls of 1997 for example.

3. Losing the two execs will hurt IOM. JG says that they'll stay on until the new organization is in place, but come on. They lost their job, what incentive do they have left?

4. When asked the question about increased disk sales making up for the seasonally slower 1st quarter, JG side-stepped the question altogether.

5. Finally, I'll be very surprised if IOM trades up tomorrow. I think it will be in the 6's soon.

P.S. I have no position in IOM
