Chris:

Wow we sound very similar. I work mostly with Frontpage, VisualInterdev, and Visual Basic. Anyway, I also am considering taking a month off to trade as I am also really hooked on this stuff. I thought I loved software development so I majored in Computer Science but I think this sort of thing is my true calling. This sound funny but I actually don't even get angry when I lose money on a trade as long as I learn from it. The other reason I want to take time off is I think this is a great time to make money trading internet stocks. I don't think many people think this but I think the next few months will see a gradual sell off in internet stocks with lots of short term bounces. Therefore lately any short position on internet stocks I establish I cover if I get up 10% - 20% on it, and reestablish it after a bounce. I really think we are going to see at least a few bounces in this sector before the correction is over - everyone is expecting them all to lose 50% is one day at some point and I would be surprised to see that happen. I know too many people waiting to buy into these things, and too many people have made a killing going long on these. As an example, a friend of mine who is a graduate student at FSU ran 4,000 dollars of money (which were college loans at that) to 200,000 grand last year with Amazon.com calls. I thought he was crazy but he had the last laugh :) Anyway, people like him are not going to give up on these valuations easily so I suspect we will see bounces.

Anyway, good luck to yoU!
