Not only is WORC profitable with the success of their HydraFax software,catering to an impressive list of clients, on 9/25/98 WORC announced through its subsidiary Next Century Systems Inc.(NCS), that it has entered into a Purchase/Distribution Agreement with San Diego Processing Corporation (SDDPC)to acquire its powerful SWIM (Desk) and SWIM (Pen) software. SWIM is an acronym for (Sewer Water Infrastructure Management) which has been in use for the last 24 months by the City of San Diego. There has been a substantial amount of interest by many companies within the water utility industry. In our talks with Mr. Mittler,CFO, WORC has already $20 million in current bids out to various utility companies to purchase SWIM and expects to at least close 50% or better of these outstanding proposals.
