Thank God for small favors. Jack White has my account straightened out this morning.

One additional comment about my bad experience. I used to print out the confirmation screens and save them. In Discover Brokerage Direct's case, they send E-mail confirmations of all activity in your account and the results show up almost immediately in your on-line accounts so I stopped saving the paper. It just seemed like a waste of trees. In Jack White's case, the confirmation number comes up after the trade with no data associated with it. I used to print this, flip it over and put it back in the printer and back space to the trade entry screen and print that on the back of the confirmation number. I stopped doing that again because a) I could never prove that the front and back of the page really went together and b) everything showed up on screen so soon. When I was arguing with Jack White all they wanted to talk about was the trade number matched with a password entry on their printout. I'm now back to saving hard copies of every trade.

Good luck to all today---looks bad,
Bob
