Fred,

I know I predicted 14 back in December, but when we got there, I really thought 12 was near at hand... My GTC at 12 1/4 did not get filled as 12 5/8 was the bottom. Hence, I have been CREAF-free for 26 days. (Expired options excepted)

I think you're right about the present range. The next two weeks really could be even better. Lots of hardware in 7 days: after CREAF comes TDFX (Tuesday), CPQ (Wednesday) and DIMD (Thursday). Then, the back-back resumes.

Assume earnings for all four meet or exceed and that Sim articulates a reasonable explanation for his curious conduct of the buy back thus far(ie. "I bought the whole 10%" or "I bought 5% but ran into a NASD rule that precluded further buying in 1998", etc.), then I think its realistic to think CREAF will be in the 17.5-20 range. It certainly was headed there when the buy-back was halted.

r/s
Ben

CUBE getting clobbered today. Probably explains some of the weakness in CREAF. But then CUBE had a nice run up before earnings. CREAF just gets a run down. And thing of it is, CUBE was only expecting half what CREAF is expecting. And they got to over 30. CREAF can't even hold half that. Just goes to show, don't underestimate the markets hatred of Sim.

I "reinvested" my dividend (which I haven't actually received yet) in 20 Mar 17.5 calls today. Got them for almost what the Febs were selling for. Sure hope we get a pop from earnings.
