Zweig did not poll SI chatroom types to gauge negative sentiment. He measured it at the extreme when it made the covers of magazines or became the top news of the day.

I'd say we are close if not already there.

Could that be because the drop has been so large that the bulls sense a near bottom. How much more can it drop...? Another 50 point at the most ? having weathered the storm from 447 to 250, you'd think 50 points would be a breeze....!

Fridays have never been my favourite days in a downtrend...!
