Lots of good questions Jon,

1. Turning point was when I took my ego out of it and played percentages - kept stops tight - got out with small losses and let wins ride. Stopped marrying stocks.

2. Love full time trading - work in my pajamas, if i need a day off I take it. I only answer to myself - however, being your own boss is most often more stressful than answering to someone else. Rewards are greater though.

3. I spend MANY MANY hours on the computer before, during and after the trading day. YOU WILL NOT MAKE MONEY working only trading hours - that I can guarantee. Must read boards and get a feel for investor sentiment etc.... I AM NOT A TECHNICAL TRADER - I AM A MOMENTUM TRADER.

4.I make approximately 50 trades a week.

5. I hold overnight - I am a momentum/gap trader. Make most of my money on morning gaps not intraday trades. Not much of a scalper.

6. Doesn't matter what winning percentage is - you could hit 30% and still come out ahead if your gains are large and losses small. On the other hand you could hit 70% and make nothing if the other 30% incur large losses.

Hope this helps,

JL
