You crack me up!!

I don't think the NAVR management would mind seeing the IPO at $70 a week after it hits the market. Surely most understand that this is a temporary, deserved respite in internet land.

NAVR is simply retreating to its moving average. However, I hope your price prediction comes true so I can buy some more!

I'm willing to bet that NAVR management is not about to pull the IPO. They saw what happened to their net worth the last time they tried it.

Oh, then by all means short the hell out of NAVR asap. It will be a pleasure to take your money and use it for the big Hawaiian pancake breakfast.

Jay,

The internet stocks will move up and down all year and they do it quickly. I wouldn't expect the slump to last too long. Don't forget, AOL is announcing earnings next week and they will probably beat estimates. That could pump life back into these stocks quicker than you can blink your eye. Once this IPO is announced, this baby will have legs. Even if it runs into the 20s, I'm not complaining, but I'll bet it will break the old high of $27 no problem.

Also, unless NAVR says that they have cancelled the IPO, I don't believe you'll see $9 for quite some time. Also, I don't understand how the downward pressure the last few days has any bearing on the announcement. Could you expand on that?

Dave

Maybe by the time of the IPO, the masses will be hungry again. On CNBC the anal-ysts they like to make fun of the people who are the at home online investors. They want us to lose all our money so we turn off our computers and go away. It's not going to happen, because everytime they try to burn us, it makes even the novice investor smarter and more wary of what these MMs are trying to pull.

Actually, if this slump is as short lived as these slumps have been, IMO it would probably work to NAVR's advantage. There is more and more money piling up, burning holes in peoples pockets. This slump could turn out to be a windfall (spell?) for NAVR stockholders. IPO's are still highly sought after as evidenced by todays 2 IPO's who's offering price has been increasing, even in a down market.

Jay, no response?

So did you contribute to Aloha Mike's pancake breakfast? Some of us are just not going to tolerate you coming on the thread late at night to try to get folks to focus on the negatives of the investment world. Thanks to BMFM we already are on a very uncomfortable, crowded bench.
