Good morning. I spoke to Merv Rosenfeld yesterday. The 84 Lumber
deal is BIG BIG BIG. The 84 Lumber company is the largest
privately-held building materials company in the United States.
84 Lumber sells precut homes to a vast network of builders across
the country. Realty Money Center is making the loans for this
program. Existing business is tremendous and potential for these
prefab homes is extreme. Besides that, mortgage closings are up
substantially for Realty Money Center which appears to be a very
profitable division for PanAmerican Bancorp.

According to a government press release, the five houses in San Ignacio were built at a cost of approximately BZE$35,000 each.

I couldn't find the BZE $ exchange rate, but it sure sounds like we have some major competition down there backed by the government. Does anyone know of major infrastructure improvements underway to justify the building of so many new homes. If not their value will not appreciate, rather it will decline.
