Corel Sells Off NetWinder Business
..."HCC already has major accounts with some of Canada's largest firms, so we felt this would accelerate us a couple of years in market development," said Mike Cowpland, president and CEO of Corel. "We can ride the momentum and go faster. It's easier to do with established channels."

Cowpland wouldn't say how the 25 percent stake in HCC translated in terms of dollars, but said if HCC continues its growth and runs a successful IPO, it could pay off handsomely for Corel.
