Thanks all. I have thrown together a shelter that we go to... already loaded with necessities, first-aid, valuables, etc. . .with a crawl hole that leads out. Brick homes tend to do quite well [reason I bought brick].

Update on the ice storm incident. . . wife is feeling fine after some trips to the cryo-cracker.
