As I recall, he bought them on the open market, ie they weren't part of his compensation. Thus, other than filing the required SEC document because of the size of the sale, which can be done on the day of sale, I don't think there is anything to restrict his disposition of the shares except practical things like tax-gains.

Look, the guy is staying around to assist in the transition. He and the other VP helped to create the new management structure. They knew what was needed to grow the organization into what is needed to grow the company. There isn't anything sinister here, it happens all the time in growing companies at certain times in their evolution. Been there, done that. Remember when KE left... 'KaBoom, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out'. This isn't that type of situation.
