They are using the DIXON as a cost reduction/performance improvement in notebooks where it servers both functions, despite its larger die size. Segementation in action. And yes, the DIXON - so similar to the K6-3 - should outperfrom the Pentium II if clocked at the same rate. But Intel will delay that from happening until Coppermine. Paul
