I have long enjoyed and learned from your insights into how the S/MMs work. Something happened to me this morning that, altho' it delighted me, it also scared hell out of me. I would appreciate your opinion.

Seeing that the opening was billed as a killer downturn, I decided to enter some "crazy" lowball bids. I was filled for 200 shares of CSCO @ 80 just before the open. Was this some MM matching me with some poor soul's sell stop? I never enter stops b/c of how our markets work, but this fill is startling.

I am an AOL shareholder and thought your insight would be useful to the thread rather than PMing you.

TIA.

Diana

Nice Turn Around on the Nasdaq as we are up 7 points now. It looked like Chicken Little's sky was fallen earlier and for a while I just turned off the internet and fired up all my synthesizers for some symphonic composing.

Heard that when Microsoft goes to 199 Bill Gates will be worth 99 billion. I wonder if his mother is still disappointed that her son did not become a doctor??

GO AOL, DELL MSFT, INTC etc
