Really too early to make some of these assumptions......... but Ni content (normalized, e.g. Ni-tenor) is usually highest in disseminated ores (vs massive). I am not sure if this includes gravity segregation but it is a usually a product of multiple mineralizing events. Therefore I would not expect the same ratio to carry through to the high-grade basal zone. Copper may be elevated in a fortuitously similar ratio but I don't think it could be predicted to be 4%.

With the exception of the "SE-Flats", the ovoid was basically massive-not massive;-) The Eastern Deeps was again a different beast. There are some similarities in that disseminated mineralization was frequently located on top of the massive. I really cannot say more without more information on the exact distribution of the mineralization in DDH99-1. On the surface (host,contry rock, mineralization, etc.) there look to be more than a few similarities.

Size and scale of the NWI "hit" are the real keys here. There is no doubt these are good numbers but there is so little supporting info right now that the cart seems to be ahead of the horse, so to speak.
