TBR is the stub left over after spinning off the 12 new holding companies. A shell holding only the assets not included in any of the spin-offs. Last I remember that includes about 380 million in cash, a 1% stake in PT and some buildings. TBR is no longer a Telecom play. This information can be found at

...search for Telebras off the main menu. TBR is scheduled to be liquidated and investors cashed out sometime this year. I've seen speculation of April and September. The issue is what will be left after liquidation costs, payroll etc. Speculation on this ranges from 0 to 1/2.
