Agree on profit taking. The overall market acts like it wants to catch its breath, so CTXS will fall with it. Looking at a chart, it would appear that $80 might be the support we are looking for. Crap, I sure missed the entry point on this one.

Management was very clear in the conference call that the decision to change the timing of the write-offs was in response to a letter they got from the SEC. It was a general, form letter sent to all companies that had made acquisitions. The content of the letter reflects the growing concern by the head of the SEC about this particular accounting issue among all companies. It was NOT a Citrix-specific letter.

It was such a non-event for the analysts that I don't remember any of them asking follow-up questions about it.
