El, bought 2000 more CPQ at 46. Going to sell them Tuesday at the close, and buy them back after the post-earnings selling. Seems like every stock sells off after earnings, no matter how good they are. Let's see how this works out. Bottom line, I'm increasing my CPQ position by 2k, it's just a matter of what my final basis in them will be.

Robbie

P.S. Ready to take a position in NETA. Anyone know anything about this company? TIA.

HEADLINES: VICTOR ANNOUNCES A MAJOR BUY OF CPQ STOCK AT $45 5/8ths and REITERATES "TRADING BUY" RECOMMENDATION

"CPQ is quite a large maker of widgets", he said when interviewed Friday after a power lunch at his local fish and chip shop. "The world does not need widgets, but the world wants widgets". Responding to recent criticism that he is too greedy in wanting to always to sell at each high and buy at each low, he responded "That is true".

TODAY ... THIS week

This mornings softness was due to yesterday's down mentality and some manipulation by the BIG guys. The BIGGIES (victor not included) aimed to buy CPQ at a bargin and they're getting it.

Unless there is a major market melt down towards the end of today you will CPQ end in the ++ near 49.

Especially look for UPspurts around 12:50 and a MAJOR one about 2:47.

I'm still comfortable with my $.44 est for the qtr.

I also believe that EP will ressurrect the TimeWarner deal.
