I don't see the manipulation in saying, "I might sell some gold." I don't see the manipulation in ACTUALLY selling gold. Try it. No one's gonna arrest ya.

Again, I don't see the manipulation. Only that people have, for whatever reason, sold gold. That's their right, I figure. As far as their being only 3 suppliers of gold, consolidation and liquidation is a natural phenomena in any industry under fiscal pressure. Have you priced a Packard or a Nash lately?

I don't think we'll ever see that kind of price inelasticity in gold...but ya never know!!! :)
