Vaughn,
I did not say that type II kimberlites are typically not economic. I stated that with Type II kimberlites, a high G-10 count, and lots of G-10s with compositions low in Ca and high in Cr (towardsJ-1), is not indicative of grade potential, as for example, with type I kimberlite.
I suggest you obtain a paper by J.J. Gurney entitled:
The Interpretation of the Major element compositions of Mantle Minerals in Diamond Exploration
J.J. Gurney, Paul Zweistra
Journal of Geochemical Exploration 53,(1995) pp293-309
regards,
teevee

Hello Vaughn, Teevee, Dave, Goalie, Andrew and others.

I've been lurking on this thread and really enjoy the Geo. talk guys! Keep it up, It's very educational. I firmly believe that IAR is the best leverage play in the NWT's going. These guys will no doubt be the swing company if and when SUF hits. KLA is not an options with it's float and paper shuffle.

Good luck to us all.....The Fix is in.
