When you abort a potential human life you kill the potential of that life- I do not know if it is possible to kill the soul, if souls exist, but even if the soul did die (in which case souls wouldn't be worth much would they? I mean the whole comfort thing with souls is that they are supposed to survive the death of the corporal body -right?) it doesn't make any difference to me.
