I agree that the call sounded a positive note. And it answered some of the 'unanswered' questions from yesterday.

I am, however, going to write IOM IR and ask them to ask Jodie to stop using the "Wow, that's a good question..." or "Gee, that's a good question..." phrase as much as he uses it. I have had training in public Q&A sessions and know that you can use a phrase to buy yourself some thinking time and 'stroke' the questioner by using one..... But Geez Louise, you shouldn't keep repeating the same one over and over.... your audience begins to chuckle as the count goes up, until you start to hear them chanting "that's a good question" in unison as you begin to respond :-o

I agree...

An upbeat Conference Call... I especially like the reference to J.P. Morgan that Iomega has a relatively clear road ahead now that Syquest is gone... I'll add, that now that IOM has Syquest technology it should make a faster leap to fourth generation drive development while its competitors are still struggling with their first generation drives...
