All of these, Happy Girl.
Loving is the active principle of my life. Amo, ergo sum. If there is no one who accepts my love I feel no need to live. They don't have to reciprocate, but many feel uncomfortable, creepy actually, at being loved by those they cannot love. If I did not love even myself, and its very hard to love yourself when she whom you love despises you. Been there, have had it done to me. Thus nihil, my just assessment of myself, when I stumbled into this saving place. And twice a lonely lovely woman called to me across the void. The first time I sent her a poem of another woman's loneliness and nothing happened. It was wrong for us to love. A second time she posted me and said she loved my mind and writing. But that was not enough. I pursued her passionately and we fell permanently in love and gave our lives meaning, and made them precious to each other and to others that we loved.
Before this, the only reason I lived on despite the pain and loneliness was the need for others to pay their bills. I speculated with my retirement funds to leave enough to support some who couldn't work themselves, wouldn't work themselves, or were too young or old.
Now, I don't need money. I can support my chunk of the world on my earnings. Love and the NASDAQ have made me rich indeed.
