Here is a question for your information sleuths...or maybe our resident whiz kid, Teddy.

Who is offering the $689 per bond buyout of DO's converts???

If you can find the answer to this question, you will be better informed than a few industry pros that I have talked to this morning. No one seems to know. I haven't ran my "deep" traps yet, but thought maybe someone here may have the answer.

hi davedb,

By going over the previous million posts on this thread you should be able to get a nice list <vbg>.

My suggestions, which require your own DD (disclaimer, I own FLC, UTI, WFT, RON)

Conservative plays: HAL, RIG, RON, SLB, BHI, WFT, DO, FGI, SII, CXIPY

Higher risk plays: UTI, FLC, ESV, MRL, VRC, VTS, APC, APA, BR, SDC

I'm sure there are many people on this thread who would have completely different suggestions or would rank risk differently.

Good luck,
Michael
