Interesting charts. I noticed that about a half hour after you posted them, KLIC jumped up half a point. Coincidence? I think not! <G>

Gottfried, Looking at the AMAT chart you would think SEMI orders must have peaked

However, when compared with your Orders, Shipment and BTB with 1996 AMAT price it looks like we have somewhere like 6-9 months to go until the AMAT peak is reached. From the way the AMAT price responded, jumping $4+, after the Orders, BTB and shipment # came out, IMO, I think we are on the right track. Only time will tell.

Thanks for your continued efforts.

Paul

RE: Followed my own advice and bought some KLIC today, based on faith in the SEMI orders/price chart and expecting it to repeat.

Nice call on KLIC...big move today!

Gottfried, well done on KLIC. Will you hold KLIC for the long-term or trade out of it?

As for AMAT, when the book to bill exceeds one and forward guidance is definitive on the sector rebound, I'll replace my current shares and ladder into another set of leaps. What is your expectation for AMAT prior to earnings? Thanks.
