Barb, I think that ZITL will bounce back at least one more time. They have a valid NASDAQ listing and wide publicity, that is worth several million dollars. I predict that sometime in 1999 ZITL will be reinvented as "something".com or some Internet related story, the price will bounce up, and we will see either a new convertible or an "equity line" to bring in some cash at the higher stock price. Followed by a big sell off as the insiders and "investors" dump and we short...........

I think it will happen soon. They need the price solidly above $5 before doing more financing.

>>But perhaps in a few months ZITL will reinvent itself as an Internet company? Perhaps JackKing.com?<<

I kinda like the ring to your suggested name king.com. A little like King Kong!

BTW, you mention a drop dead date for ZITL of 1/1/2000. However their last report showed that all their revenue is coming in from Datametrics and they are not Y2K. Datametrics has some data storage SW. So in fact they are not a pure Y2K company. I really wish they were and they would get to zero that much quicker.

They can reinvent themselves all they want, but (1) does anyone really think anyone is going to continue lending Jack & co. money and (2) if they do, won't the share dilution have to be factored into the upside for existing shareholders (i.e. severely limited)?
