LindyBill, I just bought ATHM shares yesterday and today. I see this as a hold investment. Like most on this thread I don't want to hear about problems with the service. I must admit, however, that I also have problems that I can't pinpoint. Foreinstance, graphics are not always clean and complete. Sections seem to disappear when I crawl up or down the page. I do believe that these problems should be brought out into the open so someone can fix them now before @home gets a bad rep. Shared bandwidth is also limiting, although you can't really tell whether that could be a slowdown in the internet itself. I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! it when it works, and that is most of the time. I believe ATHM has a great future, especially if they sort out these glitches. JimB

I have @home and it works great. Would never go back to phone service. There have been problems but they were only due to the cable provider (Cox is mine) and in keeping up with the rapid growth. Apparently, for every new few thousand users, the cable company has to upgrade the system periodically. So it is a cable company problem but those problems will be worked out and overcome in time. I'm betting on ATT & Armstrong, their CEO, in creating one of the next great companies for the 21st century. jmanvegas
