Basically the point I'm making is that they are not utilizing a COMPLETELY different toolset. The majority of the tool set is the same or essentially similar as what development/production was done on. Use of AMAT's Producer system will probably require some process tweaking. I believe that the most significant problems will come from the use of Applied's CMP machine, which I believe is totally new machine to AMD (I could be wrong about this) and whoever's bulk copper dep machine. I would guess that the majority of the rest of the tool set will be essentially identical as the current development toolset. But then again what the hell do I know. MikeyB
