It's not in Nasdaq anymore...this puppy has a collar and leash on him now...he can't run loose with his old playmates.

I don't want AOL to be a net leader. I want it to be a market leader. If AOL is associated too closely with the internuts, it will suffer the same fate. Sure it's nice when they go up, but when they crash, they crash hard. I will settle for a nice smooth ride, even if we move up and down for a while.

2) the MMs and Index Funds are still trying to shake off the little
guy.It is a little harder to do because of the larger float of AOL.
They know they can't drop the price too much because ALL sorts of people want to snatch it ( witness how short a time it stays at 135-138 when it goes down; this is 3 times now ). So what they are doing primarily is PROLONG this as much as possible. And attempt at keeping it down when the market is up ( some well place short sells to snatch the sell-stops ). And so patiently the are trying to accumulate all the shares they need for the Index funds.
3) Between 135 and 142 I think AOL is a great buy and that's were I got some more. I have some cash left if for some reason we go below that but I doubt it.

I think Clinton, Brasil, whatever are just smoke screens to take some profits and shake the little guy off.

CNBC had Laszlo Birinyii on today. Quoted as one of the top 5% market timers in the last 4 years. Laszlo said he is extremely bullish on the US. It is a powerhouse. Looks at a Dow of 12000. He uses a tool called forward cash flow analysis. He has detected that in the last 4 years while the market has taken several wide swings up and down, the cash flow has gone STEADILY UP:

ie, Americans were buying the dips !!!!!!

ie Americans were smart enough to read the market, feel positive about it and buy. And they were proven right. Household wealth is greatly up.

It is always dark before dawn.

AOL is a fantastic buy at 135 to 142,for long term buy and hold, IMHO.
