I just went over the nVidia Web site.

nvidia.com

That is one UGLY Web site. At least TDFX creates a Web site that is representative of their company. After looking at the two sites, which company would you guess has the cooler technology????

3dfx.com

I said this on MF and I say it here too. It is in our best interest to see nvda command a hefty price tag. The strong stock price will not benefit the company at all (not unless they file for a secondary offering). But it will do a number of things for us and for 3Dfx:

- 3Dfx will be able to sell its $3 mil investment at great profits (my guess is that as of today it is worth $9 mil).

- TDFX will rise in sympathy, if the rally is long lived.

- Sun Tzu and friends will be able to short it when the time is right <G>

cheers,
Sun Tzu

P.S. If these boards stay this quiet, the entertainment value TDFX will be diminished ;)

My personal favorite posts on the NVDA thread are the prediction of a close above 30 and its response of "What day?"

And naturally my response was only appreciated by the more cerebral group over here on the TDFX board. ;-) My favorite thing about the NVDA IPO (besides being able to type NVDA instead of NVIDIA) is the new boards/posters. It oughta be fun.
