Ron: Giraffe's chart is just an illustration of speculation at work. Even gold is not immune to that. My overall point is this: people disagree for many reasons. I think in this instance our disagreement stems from our exposure to different sources of knowledge, rather than one of fundamentals (like profit motive and the need to breath). That's why I'd invite anyone to tell me what their information source is, so that I can perform due diligence in addressing certain issues. Likewise, I'd expect those discussing matters with me to reciprocate. Greider's book is a start and a good one as a reference. Are you willing to investigate the sources I find informative too? I think you would find these stimulating to say the least. Bob
