Can we agree on that??

I won't use the word "clear" in this context - stranger things have happened, like VHS becoming the world's video standard. I do agree that Sun may well decide to promote JENE above other JVMs, and that this would have a huge impact. (I knew there was some reason I'm long in this stock! ;-)

Still a lot of speculation in this, but that's what we're here for ain't it? This horse looks like it's in good shape.

There's no evidence of this. Insignia issued a press release (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/981209/ca_insigni_1.html) discussing a memorandum of understanding, but it says Insignia will use Sun's technology, not the other way around.
