With regards to the music industry, I think people will be using their computers to download music. CD burners are already reasonably priced, and they are coming down further. I believe more than one distributor has said that they foresee people creating their own CDs, and they will have code burned into the CD that will prevent copying of it. I will be able to buy 10 songs from different artists (the songs I like, not their whole album) and make my own mix. I will burn it onto my own CD, and along with the music, the distributor will encode a means to prevent me from giving it away. Wave will enable me to do this, and take a few cents for themselves. -Jim
