All -

Just listened to the conference call. (Slow day at work.)

Here's a little tidbit I haven't seen mentioned anywhere.

The last question of the call, from Stan Corker of Emerald Research, was whether Iomega was going to continue to produce SyQuest-designed drives and/or media.

Glore handed the question off to a woman named Linda something. Didn't catch her last name. She said the company hasn't yet finished their evaluation of whether or not to make and sell SyQuest drives, but that they believed there was enough inventory of them in the channel anyway. She also said that Iomega sees a "great opportunity" to sell media to customers who have SyQuest drives and aren't yet ready to replace them.

Which means that we should soon see Iomega-branded disks for SparQ, SyJet and other SyQuest drives. Wild stuff.

PS: Looking at today's intraday chart, I see that my stop-loss order didn't help me much, since it executed well below the point I had set it for, and then the stock basically moved laterally for the rest of the day. Sheesh.

Oh, well. At least I didn't take a loss.
