We are all waiting for a distribution or OEM announcment concerncing SAFtylatch. Next week is as good as any. Someone or ones have bought up a considerable amount of the company in recent weeks. If the price drops, that will just be another buying opportunity for them. It appears as if there's a strong base at $4. When the announcment comes the price will jump again, hopefully to $6. I wouldn't sell before then. But what do I know.

Sheldon and all,

Possibilities...

Each year, we ask members of the editorial advisory
boards of Bank Technology News and the magazine's
Interactive Banking Technology department to rate
financial services technology, based on its potential
impact on bank performance and its degree of
innovation. Following are the results of the 1999
survey.

11. Biometric Security
Impact: 59
Innovation: 92
Total Score: 151
Biometric technology seems poised to move out
of the laboratory and into mainstream banking.
Biometric technology, which relies on anatomical
or behavioral characteristics unique to each
individual, such as fingerprints or typing
cadence, has had limited use in financial
services, primarily as a security device at ATMs.
However, speech recognition systems have
improved over time, and more banks are planning
to integrate speech recognition technology with
their call centers.
