Helen...love your enthusiasm....something about the power of positive thinking!!...this stock will continue to rocket in '99 based on the fact that the area of Storage Area Networking (SAN) is starting to ignite. The following is a cut and paste of some background: Legato and Veritas have both announced software solutions that will compliment CNT's products by allowing new Unix/NT enterprise computing systems to share mass tape storage systems. Also, CNT's partnership with Brocade for fiberchannel switch will provide their salesforce more complete solutions for this new channel standard, which features the best aspects of both channel and WAN protocols for data transfer. Until now, CNT's hardware products have delivered networking functionality which put them far ahead of the systems software capabilities of the open systems marketplace, thus their slow adoption for new enterprise applications. Only legacy mainframe systems had the sophistication to completely utilize the switching/networking functionality CNT delivers. These new technology advancements offer the promise of fully utilizing CNT's benefits in a larger, fast-growing market segment.
