Right. Remember supply side economics? The line was, you'd cut taxes and revenue would magically increase! It said so, right on Artie Laffer's napkin! After it didn't quite work out that way, the line became that Congress was inadequate in enacting Reagan's spending cuts, never mind that the differences between what Reagan proposed and what Congress enacted weren't in general that great.

I dunno bp, It seems that the pro Reagan people want to give him all the credit for what is perceived as the good that came from that time and blame all the bad on the Democratic Congress, Could it be??
