If that were to happen, the 25000-35000 figure by 2006-2008 you quote would put us right back at today. Is that sobering or what.

At the risk of being predictable, I can only respond "this isn't 1978." The demographics of the baby boom generation forces money into the stock market right up to 2008-2010 (refer to the work of Harry S. Dent). He's been correct since the mid '80's. He says the market will be between 25000-35000 by 2006-2008. He will be close.
