Frank,

In that case, why aren't you selling and/or shorting?

Frank,

You've taken a long-term view on other stocks, why not AOL? You presumably invested in AOL because of its potential going forward. I don't think you can judge the stock or the company based on its share price movement in the first 21 days of January.

Yes, the current situation is frustrating, but remember that the stocks you mentioned tumbled dramatically (30-40% or even more) from their highs and AOL did not. I recall a time not long ago when INTC was essentially flat for a year. A good company with a good business plan in a growing industry will eventually show growth. Well, usually :-).

All the best,

FRANK: You said: Everyday now this stock is falling to another sell off. Look at the snap back today with YHOO, AMZN ,ONSL and ATHM.

I know it is frustrating, Frank, but let's look at those stocks for this week:
Stock Open Close % Loss
athm 115 101 13.8%
amzn 150 1/2 123 22.3%
yhoo 339 286 18.5%
onsl 57 7/16 48 7/16 18.5%
aol 152 140 7/16 8.2%

AOL lost much less than those other stocks, even with their gains today! It is easy to lose sight of the forest for the trees on a day like today.
