I thought maybe he had covered a short yesterday. Instead, he's kind of a dufus.

Hey, I'm here, or I was, to learn. This one is starting to nag me though: How does one distinguish persistence, from stupidity?

That really bugs me.

Let me find a chart of SUNW, so I can show you guys precisely where I gave up after holding for six months.

OK. This one bothers me:

iqc.com

I got in at 29 or 30 I think, two years and a month ago? I held it while MSFT tired to squish it, going nowhere, really believing they have the giant-killer balls. In about April, they release their best earnings report ever, and it goes wallowing down to 27.5. Damn I'm sick of it. Why is no one paying attention? All this research I'm doing shows this is The Company. It wallows some more weeth the smeelly hippos at 28. I sell at 28. Right around May 1st. I tell MJ I just sold my SUNW.

It takes off for fifty the next day. That last little flat bottom at 28 in April/May 97 ~ that's me. Right at the end there.

"I thot you believed in them."

"Uh huh. I do. I did."

"I thought we were going long."

"Uh huh. I thought we were. I'm sick of waiting."

"Won't it go back up?" [This is the question I REALLY HATE.]

She asked me what their high was at dinner last night.

"......onefifteen."

INTC at 49 started all this. Right Alex?

I wouldn't need dogged persistence if the Cubic Hair weren't so persistently doggy.

If it helps any - I'm beginning to suspecct that this is not such a hot stock after all. I'm so tired. But - yagaddaadMIT - until this morning it was looking pretty good.
