John,

Somebody got silly near the end with some 200 and 300 share trades. I think it means absolutely nothing.

As far as todays performance for MU it was weak at best. I would expect more of a drop next week.

Is there a way to guess whether Feb call vol way motivated by selling or buying pressure?

I shorted some MU Friday...first time I've played with this one in a looong time ...it seems to me, who is not tech knowledgeable, that DRAM is a commodity and therefore cyclical and MU stock, at these levels, would be very vulnerable to a pullback in a market correction. Even if they do make more money in a few quarters, it just a commodity...unlike INTC which has proprietary position. I also noted that Rambus was slow...does this put a spin on INTC's 500 mil "investment" in MU to assure DRAM with Rambus tech?

any commments appreciated.....pro or con MU
