Are just as concerned about the "buying panic" that has taken place in equities over the past 3 months?

You betcha!! Especially Scamazon.com and Yoohoo!

Especially because they are draining away capital from some companies I have money in that are also fine values.... :0)

The nifty-fifty mentality of investors, combined with the lack of liquidity in small caps is VERY DISTURBING. Small-caps are the Intels and MSFT's of tomorrow and a lot of great ideas and technology are falling into oblivion due to lack of incentives in riskier, smaller companies.

Personally, I think the Capital Gains tax should be waived for investors in small caps who hold their stock for 12-24 months. This would go far to broadening out the market.

Also, margin requirements should be stiffened (as some brokers have done recently) for high P/E stocks, internet or otherwise.. including MSFT.

Regards,

Ron
