fooledalot: Actually, since I made that "prediction" it did go to $48, then retreated to $45, exactly, just a fraction off the $44 range I had aimed for. Strictly speaking, according to my prediction, it should then have surged to $48 again and carried on up through this weekend to $52 (without blockbuster news) or to $57 with. But it surged to $50 (intraday) and then began dropping back. At that time I pointed out that my prediction had envisaged this happening over a few days, not in a single day, therefore I found the surge to $50 suspect. If you remember this telescoping of all this movement in one day was coincidental with the Faber announcement of an internet deal - so this piece of "phantom" news queered the pitch. I decided to sell at $49 1/2 for the ride down, but failed to do it. However, since I had cash from sales of other stock I bought at $45 5/8ths. I would have liked to wait for $44 or lower (which might still come) but felt that the internet news has probably raised the base.

As you know, I deliberately try to be a little bit off in my prediction to maintain my status as the most 'umble person on the thread.
