John, I received the story myself via e-mail. While I have heard talk of liberal Democrats lobbying in favor of gun control who own firearms themselves for self-defense, I waited to see such a story confirmed by a REAL news source. I'm very wary after the black woman who shamelessly used her minority status to forward a paternity claim against a sitting president was found to be a fraud. I'm really shocked that this Family Christian Radio Network would repeat such a story without wire confirmation of any sort. Surely they owe a Christian apology. One good aspect of this is that the story didn't last but a short while on this thread before being exposed for a hoax. There are a lot of good thinkers here and truth is ferreted out forthwith here. I e-mailed Turner's exposé of the hoax posted here to the party who sent the story to me. Turner deserves a lot of credit for being on the ball in this case. --Al
