I use greenline and I made a trade the other day. I bought KOB-toronto at 1.32 and sold at 1.47 yesterday morning. I bought 5,500.
Buy 5500 $7260.00 + 145.00 commission = 7405.00
sold 5500 8085.00 - 145.00 commission = 7940.00
difference =$535.00

now I am not complaining but greenline gives out no advice and gets $290.00 out of this deal and then the government gets a cut of this also. I cannot figure out how these U.S. brokerages can charge so low commissions. Any advice?

Has anyone actually figured out on short term trades how much you actually have to make in a trade to come ahead? I figure this stock would of had to go from 1.32 to 1.38 just to break even. That is scary for day trading.
