Yes. Sound it out, you see. Think it through. Put together the root words, and you have root beer. My dictionary, I mean I have it memorized, it says: "1. a word irregular in inflection; esp : a noun irregular in declension. It must be nice to understand that. I bet Penni, Thomas, Alex - oh heck with it ~ I think if they're going to write that there, they should have to put in an example. They probably made up the word, and the definition, and there aren't any. It's just a little Webster underwriter humor.
