Of course Clinton has raised more money than any one in Congress. Presidents run nationwide campaigns, Congressmen statewide at most.

...and is owned by the rich and famous.

Most of the rich money goes to the GOP, but more Hollywood famous money goes to Democrats.

Obviously, donations don't imply being "owned" but may indicate the donator's sympathy with the politician's positions. It's entirely possible that the House GOP leaders would have invited industry lobbyists to write legislation even if the industries had not given money. But, I doubt it.
